Mission
Prison to Employment Connection (P2EC) is offered to residents at San Quentin State Prison who are within one year of a release date or have a scheduled Parole Board Hearing within 6 months. After successfully completing a rigorous 14-week employment readiness program, they are invited to an Employer Day. Potential employers (P2EC Partners) come to the prison to interview program participants, review their resumes, and offer guidance and support for potential employment upon release. Prison to Employment Connection additionally is the fiscal sponsor of Veteran's Healing Veterans.
Programs

Last year, our program successfully graduated 30 men from San Quentin, with a recidivism rate of less than 1% among our graduates. Our mission is to connect incarcerated individuals with the resources they need to succeed after release. This year, we aim to triple our impact by graduating 90 men at San Quentin. Staying true to our mission, we continue to offer the most comprehensive job readiness training within the CDCR, giving participants the opportunity to practice their new skills with fair chance employers from across Northern California.
