Proem's "Help Center," a permanent response to meet the ongoing needs of families and individuals in immediate crisis is a 47-room former hotel purchased in 2022 where ongoing care for displaced Ukrainians can continue. We continue to house, feed, and care for Ukrainian Refugees, operate our Christian Counseling Center, and provide ongoing trauma care, support groups and spiritual guidance to a multitude of people in need.
Proem focuses on expanding the Kingdom of God - one life and one family at a time. Building relationships with non-believers and creating opportunities for people to hear the gospel join together all of Proem's areas of ministry and interdependence. This synergy has led to church plants in three cities in Poland.
The Residency program started in September 2024 and continues today and into the future. The Proem Resident program is a one-year program, intended for young adults/aged 18+, which combines 4 elements: theology lectures, missional involvement, spiritual formation and social engagement. An important part of the program will be theology classes, lectures and biblical classes. We want to equip a new generation of young people with tools that will help them organize their way of thinking about God, man, the Church and mission. Lectures will be delivered by Proem staff and invited lecturers from Poland and abroad. It costs $15,000/year for Americanresidents and they raise all of their personal support to do the program. We have to raise $500/person for international residents and we have between 8-12 per year. With a total of $48,000/year for international residents. We receive funds from churches to support the program.
