Sparkler: the new age of event marketing - the professional development committee offers events that include educational programs, certification study programs, various networking, and recruitment events throughout the year. The purpose of these professional events is to provide a forum for members to share ideas and help improve the value of the conventions, conferences, seminars, and business meetings they manage.

Annual meeting: celebrate! - the membership committee offers events to promote retention, recruitment, and recognition of our members, as well as the chapter networking events. The purpose of these events is to promote membership, engagement, and the recruitment of new members, as well as recognize active members within the chapter.

The emerging professionals mentorship program - designed to bring experienced industry professionals together emerging professionals (students, young professionals, or any members new to the industry), to foster professional growth. Mentors and protg's are paired based on similar industry interests.

Community services volunteer opportunities - creates a culture of giving back to the community through volunteer events and charitable contributions. Community service committee members create and organize volunteer and fundraising opportunities for members throughout the year.

Diversity, equity & inclusion (dei) programs - creates and cultivates a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion that is paramount to the success of our members and demonstrates to the world that our differences make us stronger. The dei committee collaborates with the planning team for all chapter events to ensure that various elements focus on inclusivity and belonging.
