The object of professional educators of north carolina, inc. Is to unite the influence and endeavors of north carolina educators and other citizens in promotiong legislative, civic, moral, and social measures that are conductive to sound education; to pledge itself to service to the public, to obedience to the law, to maintenance of effective education, to the protection of public sovereignty over public education and the basic rights of management; to defend the privilege and uninterrupted and undelayed education for children; to support representation before boards of education of all duly established groups; and to reestablish basic individual freedoms for all.
