Mission
Progressives for Democracy in America is a 501c4 non-profit involved in Federal State and Local issue advocacy as well voter registration drives across the country. Progressives for Democracy in America was founded to rectify the general populations lack of engagement with politics and public policy between elections as well as with elected representatives; and to provide a space through its local chapters where people can discuss politics public policy and the performance of their elected representatives.

This was another public education campaign pertaining to state policy. In this case the focus was in Illinois. We partnered with the National Black Empowerment Action Fund to build a campaign calling on Governor Pritzker to increase economic and education opportunities for Black communities in Illinois.
This was another partnership with Food and Water Watch again focused on shutting down the controversial Alsio Canyon underground storage facility. This project involved contacting members of Food and Water Watch and Progressives for Democracy in America as well as citizens living close to the Also Canyon facility via direct phone calls and emails to encourage them to contact elected officials and local authorities an advoicate for closing the Alsio Canyon facility.
We paid out every cent we received for the two political ad buys we helped purchase see the reporting in Schedule C amounting to $333500. We also had over $120,000 in program service expenditures most of which was spent on achieving the progressive Central conference in Chicago in August 2024.
