Mission

In 2024, Project Athena Foundation advanced its mission by empowering survivors of medical and traumatic challenges to pursue new athletic goals and achieve their adventurous dreams. Through adventure programs such as the San Diego Harbor to Cove Coastal Marathon Trek, Grand Canyon Adventure Trek, Florida Keys to Recovery, and Sedona Vortex Ultra Hike, the foundation provided travel support, coaching, equipment, and community encouragement to help participants move from Survivor to Athlete.
