Grant support for Project Dandelion to attend and engage in three global platforms activations: hosting activations at 2023 Africa Climate Summit and 2023 United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) ($50,000.00), and support cohort of global south leaders to attend the 2024 Skoll World Forum ($50,000.00). Project Dandelion is led by Connected Women Leaders, a fiscally sponsored project of Panorama Global. Objectives for this grant are for Project Dandelion leaders to: * Curate an official convening at the Africa Climate Action Summit (Sept. 4-7, 2023), focused on renewable energy innovations and proximate leaders from Zambia,South Africa and Kenya; * Host a gathering at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in partnership with Rockefeller Foundation (September 19-23, 2023), this event will be hosted by women climate leaders featuring 2 panels at NEST climate lab; and breakfast convened by Mary Robinson, the Elders and Women Political Leaders (WPL); and, * Bring 10 Project Dandelion leaders to the 2024 Skoll World Forum in Oxford, England (April 9-12, 2024). This support is intended to cover travel, visas, and Oxford accommodations, delegate fees will be waived.
