Scholarships: funds are awarded to area high school seniors who have experienced the death of an immediate family member. Student application requires the applicant to describe how the death affected them,how they have demonstrated resilience, served their community in spite of this adversity, and define future goals. Scholarship winners are honored at an annual awards program and their loved one is memorialized at the event.
Family assistance grant program: financial assistance provided to families with a seriously ill child receiving treatment in texas med center. Funds are distributed on one time basis to help with rent, utilities, parking & other financial needs.
Sibsupport prog:siblings of seriously ill children receive 1 on 1 attn field trips,critical thinking,games & art to allow feeling expression
Life planning institute:offer advanced legal life planning docs to families powers of atty,medical directives,wills & more available through staff atty
