Project Vision Hawaii is a nonprofit that works in partnership with the people of Hawaii to promote health, happiness and dignity for all.

Programs

Street medicine efforts help to decrease emergency room visits and inpatient stays to support the overall health access and safety for the entire community. Practitioners focus on trust-building through consistency, non-judgmental care plans, and making the extra effort to bring services directly to the patient which reduce health care access barriers.

HiEHiE brings health, hygiene and human services to people experiencing homelessness. This mobile hygiene program provides hot, private showers on a weekly rotation to the houseless community and connects them with resources.

Project Vision Hawaii, dba Hawaiian Eye Foundation, promotes the preservation, restoration and improvement of vision throughout the Pacific Basin through charitable service, education and research programs. This is achieved through outreach in Hawaii and the Pacific Basin, including free cataract surgeries, rural eye camps and training expeditions, and sub-specialty training. SNAP and additional general health programs are included in service programs.
