Promoting Health in Haiti Inc (PHH) educates family nurse practitioners and mental health nurse practitioners in Haiti with the cooperation of the University of Haiti. We are currently considering expanding to other countries and are working with the Cameroons in Africa. Thus the name change to Promoting Health International.

Promoting Health in Haiti educates graduates o.f our program at the State University of New York, Downstate, via an on line program. Two students are currently in the online Doctor of Nursing Practice Program. PHH also supports graduate nurse practitioners in clinics throughout Haiti. Due to conditions in Haiti, we were unable to provide this service during the past year
0Faculty and officers from the USA travel to Haiti to teach and assist with the program. All travel is paid by PHH. Housing and board are included plus all in country travel and security. Unsafe to travel this year.
