Mission

The prop shop's mission is to provide basic support for families in need through volunteers, community, and other organizations. It provides free clothing, household goods, and furniture to low-income families.

Programs

2 programs

To fund its services and to provide low-cost solutions for all community members, the prop shop operates a resale store of donated items. Proceeds from the resale store support the family services programs of the prop shop. These proceeds enable purchases of new underwear and socks, towels, and other items, which are not donated in sufficient quantities to meet the needs of local families.

Expenses: $566K

Excess donations of in-kind goods for which the prop shop does not have sufficient capacity are given to other 501(c)(3) organizations to help their respective causes. The prop shop gave more than 568,000 of in-kind goods to other organizations in 2024.
