Programs

Day services refers to center-based support services that are provided from our corporate facility in reading, pa. Activities take place both in the facility and in the community. These services include: employment and vocational services and community participation supports (adult training). See additional information on schedule oemployment services help individuals with disabilities find and maintain competitive employment in the community. A job coach works with individuals through all phases of job development, hiring, on-the-job- training, and follow along services to ensure that the individual completes tasks to the satisfaction of the employer. Proberco also provides community work base assessments and administers a wexa program (work experience for adults) to promote employment opportunities for adults with disabilities. The program maintains a caseload of approximately 15 people.vocational services a training and employment program for adults with disabilities. Proberco employs approximately 58 workers with disabilities and partners with local businesses to provide packaging and subassembly services. Production workers also go out in the community in work teams to provide services at various businesses. Community participation supports (adult training) provide social and recreational activities for adults with disabilities from 8:30 a.m. To 3:30 p.m. Monday through friday. Activities include socialization, exploring interests and hobbies, community engagement, volunteer experiences, mobility training, along with physical fitness. One of our components is designed for individuals who are deaf and hard of hearing; we contract with an american sign language instructor who comes in twice a week to teach asl to participants and employees. There are 105 individuals who in adult training services.
Family support services provides individualized services to people with disabilities and their families. Currently authorized to provide habilitation supports, companionship services and host respite to over 22 individuals.
