Providence Christian Academy

Dyslexia program: during the 2023-2024 school year, providence christian academy's dyslexia therapy program served fifteen 1st-12th grade students with dyslexia or reading-related disorders. Skills addressed in dyslexia therapy included: alphabet, reading, spelling, writing, and listening/reading comprehension. Students in the dyslexia program are monitored for growth using informal benchmarks and formal pre and post assessments.

Career program: for the 2023-2024 school year, one senior graduated and entered the community in a working position. In the career program, the students learned life skills, such as laundry, cooking and washing dishes, and cleaning. The students also held mock interviews and filled out applications.
