Swim for life: celebrating its 37th year in 2024, this quintessential provincetown tradition symbolizes the heroic efforts of a community devastated by the aids pandemic and its unequivocal response to it. The swim for life has become a catalyst for a nurturing community, offering connectedness, healthy exercise and continuity for those who return year after year. Beneficiaries of the swim include aids support group of cape cod, helping our women, outer cape health services, provincetown rescue squad,soup kitchen in provincetown, provincetown schools, the compact community fund, accessible provincetown, west end racing club,native land conservancy, lily house and cape cod children's place.
