... In two years' time, verso will be printing new books written by those first featured in our pages and edited by parapraxis editors hannah zeavin and alex colston. After just one issue, the all-volunteer magazine had a subscriber base of 1,500. ... Psychosocial foundation. We established the foundation as a place for intellectual and political inquiry into the psychological for the public, particularly for a non-academic or non-specialist audience who don't usually have access to this kind of work. The foundation's programming offers rigorous social critique toward emancipation and social justice, while also giving full due to the depth and complexity of the psyche. Founded at the beginning of 2022, the foundation is already convening educational programming across directed courses, in seminar, lecture, and short course formats. The foundation was heralded as the future of psychoanalysis at the february 2023 american psychoanalytic association meeting by former president bill glover.
