Mission
The Mission of the Vista Grande Elementary PTA is threefold: to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community, and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisons affecting children; [continued on next page]
Programs

Outside activities & school support------------------the pta supports several activities for the promotion of school unity. Among other things, this includes funding for carnival, winter wonderland dance, parent's night out, and science night. The pta also supports the school with capital improvements including a new sound system and new playground shade structure.
Library and technology----------------------the pta supports library and technology programs at the school by purchasing additional materials. Books, periodicals, computers and software are utilized by various students at all grade levels.
Other programs--------------additional program services include staff appreciation week.
