Carlmont parent teacher student assocaition (ptsa) mission is to advocate for students and families,and to bring closer relationship between home and school so that parents and teachers may work collaboratively in educating their children and youth.

Ptsa also provides support and services to various school activities and events - such as chaperone students for school events; manage student store; volunteers coordination; host events such as teachers/staff appreciation and ptsa awards evening; raise funds through grad day concessions, sale of pe clothes and spirit wear.
Ptsa communicates with parents, board members & teachers/school staff through issuing the bagpiper, a bi-monthly e-newsletter; host ptsa web pages; host 8th grade transition information & events; representation at monthly suhsd superintendent's pta presidents meetings.
