The objective of the bolton parent and teacher association, common with those of the national parent and teacher association, and the connecticut parent and teacher association is to :1 promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship 2 raise the standards of home life 3 secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth 4 bring into close relation, the home and the school--whereby parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth 5 develop, between educators and the general public, such united efforts as to secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, social and spiritual education.
