Colorado-based professional learning: pebc offers school and site-based professional development trainings for teachers at all grade levels and across all subject areas. There are 275 days of intensive professional development for over 1,000 teachers and principals in 131 schools, which represents 32 colorado districts and benefits an estimated 55,000 students. There were 7 traveling/on-site institutes for 461 educators in colorado. Lab classrooms allow participants to observe research-based, high quality instruction by exemplary teachers working in their own classrooms. There were 6 local labs in fy24. National consulting and professional development: there were 260 days of professional development in over 20 school districts outside of colorado. 7 traveling/on-site institutes for over 250 educators outside of colorado.

Expenses: $2.0MGrants: $19K

Institutes and seminars: p-12 educators from colorado and around the nation learn from seasoned pebc staff developers and education experts during two-to-four day institutes and seminars. Educators participate in hands-on, interactive sessions featuring key topics relevant to best practice instruction. In fy24, over 625 educators participated in the following institutes: b.e.s.t. Conference thinking strategies forward: from polarization to progress writing institute: teaching argument writing minds on math pebc leadership seminar science institute facilitation institute leadership lunch series effective mentoring & coaching critical practices in culturally and linguistically diverse education
