Programs and initiatives range from providing opportunities to students(continued on schedule o) and families with limited resources to encourage innovative curriculum and connections to challenge winter haven's brightest. Pep seeks to facilitate the innovation and connections necessary to make winter haven's public school system one that effectively serves all students and is viewed as a benchmark for public school systems.

Pep provides for school, teacher and student needs above what the schools are capable of providing, such as: pep education center is a reading tutoring program that offers 1:1 instruction for the students, and book purchases to refill or update pep libraries. Pep also provides a healthy snack and nutritional education program.
Pep, in parternship with the learning resource center, hosts a super summer science camp gives students the opportunity to explore science and the arts through interaction with hands-on projects. Camp takes place over six weeks and will feature different stem activities weekly
