Certification:prim&r's certification initiatives for institutional review board (irb) professionals - the certified irb professional (cip) credential - and for institutional animal care and use committee (iacuc) professionals - the certified professional iacuc administrator (cpia) credential - strengthen the quality of institutional review boards (irbs) and institutional animal care and use committees (iacucs) by establishing an accepted body of knowledge and national standards of practice for irb and iacuc administration.
