PUEDENetwork empowers youth to learn lead and thrive by providing programs that promote academic success healthy living leadership development community engagement and athletic participation. Through its C.L.A.V.E. framework the organization equips young people with the skills and confidence to succeed in school in sports and in life.

Service Coordination Community Core Value Exempt Purpose Achieved: Fostering youth participation and commitment to the community cultivating a sense of ownership and transforming neighborhoods with pride and respect which leads to a reduction in delinquency. Program Description: Puede Network scholars are involved in service learning projects with an eligibility requirement to fulfill 120 hours of community service a year. Past projects include neighborhood cleanups the Dallas Annual Luggage Drive and food pantry drives. Achieved Outcomes Targeted Skills: Scholars cultivate Peer Learning Empathy Social Consciousness Solution-Oriented thinking and Pride. They become agents of positive change through collective action.
Family Focused Activities Aspiration Core Value Exempt Purpose Achieved: Maximizing youth success through active parental involvement strengthening family units and teaching cultural traditions to instill a sense of identity and opportunity. Program Description: This includes parent workshops meetings and a required daily reading routine with their youth 30 minutes 6 days week. Scholars and their families also plan and participate in monthly community gatherings to celebrate cultural traditions like taquizas and posadas which promotes communication on community issues. Achieved Outcomes Targeted Skills: The activities instill a Sense of belonging Resilience Self-Motivation Perseverance and Creativity. The organization has measured youth improvements in grades reading ability discipline social skills teamwork well-being and mental health through various surveys.
