To provide relief to the poor or needy living in North Haven, Maine. North Haven is an island off the coast of Maine. This relief is provided by assisting qualified island residents with the payment of medical bills, utilities, heating and housing.

Medical assistance - Grants to needy individuals for hospitalization, medical tests, doctor and dentist visits, counseling, medical equipment and emergency transport. All assistance is paid directly to the providers.
The North Haven Baptist Church assists needy individuals with medical and utilitiy expenses who might not qualify under Federal and State poverty guidelines, or who might be too embarassed to apply for assistance, but still need help. The Foundation pays the providers directly.
Grants to the Town of North Haven to assist in paying an Outreach Worker and an Eldercare Worker who perform services to the poor and elderly. Services consist of driving them to the mainland for medical appointments or assisting them at home with their medical needs.
