Mission
Our mission is to uplift the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of those living with parkinson's disease through fun, effective, and empowering workouts. Rooted in hope and community, we bring together peers, coaches, and volunteers who share the journey - offering encouragement, compassion, and strength every step of the way.
Programs
2 programs
In addition to its ongoing classes, pop santa fe hosts monthly community events that provide social connection, encouragement, and support for individuals living with parkinson's disease. These gatherings help counter the feelings of isolation that often accompany the condition while strengthening a sense of belonging among participants, and are often designed to enhance brain activity through creation of new neural pathways. Coaches and volunteers engage in community outreach by attending local and regional parkinson's education and support events, including local conferences on aging, and health and wellness events to build awareness of pop santa fe, and share information about the programs we offer.
Pop santa fe is committed to maintaining high standards of program delivery through continuing education and staff development. Each quarter, the pop santa fe head coach conducts in-depth training seminars for coaches and volunteers. These sessions reinforce the rock steady boxing model, introduce updated fitness and safety techniques, and provide opportunities to share best practices and address participant needs. This ongoing education ensures that every class is safe, effective, and aligned with our mission to deliver the best possible experience for individuals living with parkinson's disease.
