Purple Mountain Recovery Inc

Purple mountain recovery is a 501 (3)(c) founded in july of 2022 to create a safe place in the lgbtqia+ community for people recovering from mental health and/or addiction. The name purple mountain is a nod to the founder's mother, who stood by his side and envisioned a world where everyone had access to the same care as he battled living in a world where many resources or safe places were not available to the lgbtqia+ community while they were struggling with their recovery. Purple mountain recovery aims to build a place where anyone battling or recovering from mental health and addiction can come and get the much-needed support and resources they may need. We aim to embrace our community with love and show them that recovery is possible and achievable. We aim to erase the stigmas about the lgbtqai+ community as well as the stigmas around addiction, harm reduction, mental health, recovery, and healing.
