Referral fees - the queens county bar association maintains a legal referral service and provides referrals to attorneys competent in the area of law consistent with the matter in question to members of the community requesting such a referral. The attorneys on our panels (i.e. Family law, personal injury, immigration, etc.) pay a fee to be included on the panel list and referrals are made on a strict rotation basis, regardless of geographic location or any other factors except for languages spoken in the attorney's office. (for example, if a potential litigant only speaks chinese, he/she will be referred to an attorney that speaks chinese if such an attorney participates in that specific panel.) attorneys may opt to be included on multiple panels, provided they are competent in each practice area.

Member related events - member related events consist of judiciary, past presidents and golden jubilarian night, annual dinner and installation of officers, annual golf outing and annual holiday party.
