Mpact:labmpact:lab is a place-based leadership development and capacity building program that supports the creation of local, cross-sector stakeholder coalitions working to integrate transit, land use and community development. Since 2021, we have been hosting regional learning cohorts of a dozen people, together with experts, now known as move roundtables. The move program started as a fee-for-service program and since then, we have continued to offer this option to individual regions/cities, but we also entered into funding partnerships with two different national organizations, each of which underwrite the costs of capacity-building programs that foster stakeholder engagement and collaboration for mobility-related efforts locally. In addition to these programs, we offer the option for local cohorts to attend the conference together as a "delegation." these delegations receive additional support (meeting space, facilitation, extra meetings) from us during the conference. In 2023 and 2024, we also hosted an mpact:lab learning and collaboration space at the conference, which offered attendees an opportunity to get to know the lab program, experience a workshop session, and participate in networking and collaborative learning.

Mpact:voicesmpact:voices hosts year-round learning opportunities via podcasts, webinars, blog posts, videos and other forms of media on our website. Our most regular format is the podcast, which we host monthly pursuant to a contract with an outside host who hosts and edits the podcasts for us (though we determine the content, speakers, and themes). The podcasts are made available both to our audience and to our podcast host's audience. In addition, we regularly write and share blog posts on topics related to our programs, and we occasionally host webinars. We also produce and share videos, largely from our annual conference. These products podcasts, blogs, webinars and videos in turn are shared on our social media channels and via our e-news. We also create original short videos (often reels) for our social media and feature profiles of people in our network, including members of our national steering committee and board. The intent of all these efforts is to showcase aspects of building livable communities around transit, keep our wider network informed and build our audience.
