Mission

Rain City Rock Camp empowers girls, women, and gender non-conforming individuals to engage their creative potential through music, champion equity, and thrive in a community of allies and activists.

Programs

2 programs

Adult Rock Camp - RCRCs program for adult participants. Embracing the philosophy that everyone can learn new skills, adult day camps (2 per year) offer a safe, inclusive space for people impacted by gender inequity who are 21+ to exercise their voice, explore their potential, and play music within a supportive community. We remove cost barriers by offering sliding scale tuition starting at $50 and provide free instrument rentals for participants.

Expenses: $55KGrants: $9K

Amplified Teen Voices - Year-round teen leadership program for youth who have participated in at least one of our summer immersive youth programs. Teens build strong peer-to-peer relationships with like-minded teens interested in music, the arts, leadership and activism; assist RCRC in building action-oriented, relevant, youth-driven programming; and, connect and work with youth leaders from other area organizations.
