After School Connections - REACH After School Connections is our daily after school & evening program that offers a safe and consistent environment for children, providing essential elements for their growth and development. Our programs feature 1-to-1 mentoring along with consistent opportunities for academic progress. Participants also benefit from a positive sense of belonging and community, engaging in enriching experiences such as STEM activities, art electives, exercise, and healthy meals and snacks. With a dedicated team of caring adults and mentors, including a 1:4 child to adult staff ratio, we ensure personalized attention and support for every child. Additionally, our door-to-door transportation service ensures access to our programs for all participants, further enhancing inclusivity and accessibility.

Weekend Program - REACH Friday Night Expeditions serves as a dynamic positive incentive and reward program for all children who successfully achieve their short-term academic, behavioral, and school attendance goals each month. This exciting program offers a variety of engaging activities, including attending sporting events, theater performances, amusement parks, special restaurant outings, e-sport events, and more. By recognizing and celebrating their achievements, we aim to motivate and inspire our participants while fostering a sense of excitement and accomplishment in their academic and personal endeavors. REACH Saturday Outdoor Expeditions offer an immersive outdoor experience for children throughout the fall, winter, and spring seasons, providing over 240 hours of thrilling adventures. From hiking and backpacking to ziplining, athletics, water activities, and outdoor survival skills training, our expeditions offer a diverse range of opportunities for participants to explore and connect with the natural world. Through these engaging outdoor activities, we aim to foster a love for nature, encourage physical activity, and instill valuable life skills in our youth.

Expenses: $68K

Mentorship Program - REACH Mentorship Program fosters youth development by connecting high school mentors with younger mentees (grades 3-8) to promote positive character, social growth, and academic success. Mentors support their mentees through homework help, enrichment, and athletic activities, modeling empathy, leadership, and goal-setting. Guided by adult leaders and volunteers, the program incorporates hands-on learning such as robotics, art, science, fitness, and martial arts. Operating one day per week for 12 weeks across three sessions each school year, REACH serves over 75 mentors and mentees, building lasting relationships that inspire confidence, belonging, and resilience.
