GENERAL PURPOSE

GENERAL PURPOSE CONTRIBUTION

REAP serves 3rd-12th grade students who face barriers compared to statewide averages in academic, health, and other socioeconomic outcomes. Currently, REAP provides programs in 9 different school districts for a total of 24 school sites located in Clackamas, Columbia, Multnomah, and Washington Counties. YEP provides year-long, integrated career and entrepreneurship training to middle and high school students through multi-layered educational support programming, with additional entrepreneurial/workforce development activities integrated throughout. The students engage in market research and analysis while learning how to write a strong business plan. The curriculum then focuses on product and service development, website building, branding, marketing, and strengthening public speaking skills by providing networking opportunities to build relationships with CEOs, business executives, potential investors, and community leaders as they start launching their businesses out to the world.
