Read after school program: the redeemer exploration and discovery(read) program is available for all tk-3rd grade redeemer school students after noon dismissal. Teachers are trained in the school's philosophy & will follow a curriculum developed by the school that does not overlap with the current school-day curriculum. The schedule includes time for lunch, outdoor play, work on hand crafts, read aloud time and independent work and play time for students. There are normally up to two classes each day.
Roots learning resource program: the roots learning resource program at redeemer provides 1) resources for parents, students, and teachers within the context of the rich classroom curriculum, 2) outside tutors and specialists coordinated with the school schedule, 3) oversight of the screening and intervention process, 4) testing and classroom accommodations that meet your child's specific needs, and 5) subject area and reading tutoring. Roots follows the response to intervention format and oversees a learning resource service plan for roughly 12% of current students.
