Redwood Pals Rescue is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to support rescue and adoption efforts of animals that are at risk in the Humboldt County Animal Shelter in addition to working to improve the quality of their lives. We pay to take the rescue and shelter dogs to much-needed training each week pay for boarding when we have more dogs that need rescuing than we have space in foster homes pay for spaying neutering vaccinations and medical costs for our rescue dogs pay for food when our generous foster families are tapped out pay for leashes and treats when the shelter runs low and the miscellaneous items that give our rescue and shelter animals a better life. This past year we have also paid for spay neutering vaccinations medical care and food for many of the dogs owned by local homeless people. We hav also taken in many litters of abandoned puppies vaccinated provided veterinary care fostered then transported to rescue partners and or adopted locally.
