Mission

The primary purpose of this program was to establish required funds to get 5 Myanmar refugee families 3 living in Refugee Camp 1 Nai Soi Thailand and 2 living in Malaysia legally admitted into the US to join relatives in the Denver Colorado Area. Both sponsors and relatives live near Denver Colorado. The original goal of the money was to provide sufficient resources as required Welcome Corps USA that has been temporarily put in Limbo by the new Trump administration. All five families have corresponding at least 5 member support groups Welcome Application were mostly complete on 3 families waiting some UNHCR certification and 2 families were submitted waiting on approval. The program is currently been suspended pending re-organization by the new Trump administration and the vast majority of the money is being held in waiting by the 5 sponsor groups. Some small amounts $200,$250 $500 and $1,000 used to keep the families going during this delay in 2025.
