Construction - our construction program augments existing vocational education with an interdisciplinary, energy-efficient building construction curriculum, designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world practical experiences through the research, design, renovation, and ultimately ownership transfer. Our signature construction pilot project, carver house, is renovating a vacant rowhouse across from carver vocational technical high school into an affordable net-zero home that will be sold to a student's mother.
