Mission
Our mission is to raise awareness through community education programs of animal overpopulation, disease control, and provide resources for veterinary services in order to help abandoned and neglected animals in kansas city and it's surrounding area.
Programs
1 program
Outreach program: we educate and build trusting relationships with pet owners to provide a better future for animals in the community. We work with owners to provide a better future for animals in the community. We provide general medical care, appropriate housing/shelter, lightweight cable tie-out to replace heavy chains, food and water to those in need, as well as low-to-no cost spay/neuter services. Finally, we provide temporary foster homes for abandoned, surrendered, neglected, and/or abused animals. All animals taken in by the rescue project are vetted as follows: spay or neuter, rabies vaccine, distemper parvo vacine, bordetella vaccine, microchip, heartworm tested and treated as needed, and monthly flea/tick preventative.
