Additionally, 13 adult community members were trained to become VORP mediators Participants added: "I personally believe how i feel after completing this program is genuinely happy because this program taught me alot not just about how i feel but on how i make others feel and id like to take accountability on that because now i know to ignore and to move on and on how to use my coping mechanisms like going on walks to get steps in, spending time with teammates and working out." "I also understand how crime causes negative ripple effects by spreading harm to victims and communities. Instead, I want to create positive ripple effects by being responsible, working hard, and setting a better example. I am committed to making positive changes in my life and future."
