Suicide prevention awareness and strategies come from our monthly podcast series, brainstorms: real voices/real strategies for veterans, as well as targeted social media interaction, and the impactful public service announcements. Our podcast feature topics such as vstaa, gold star mom, health care access, transitioning from military to civilian life, military families, sustainable agriculture, and veteran stories.our x platform has grown to over 3,100 followers along with a growing number of re-tweets, impressions, engagement and likes each month. Facebook has grown to over 2,080 followers with growing engagement, reactions, and shares. Linkedin has over 1,500 followers with growing numbers of impressions, views, and appearances. Access to our podcast interviews veterans, family members, and experts in tbi/ptsd provides multiple strategies to deal with brain health, including holistic instructions in nutrition, exercise, meditation, mindfulness, and the like, known to assist brain health engaging employers, educators, and community leaders to bridge the gap between veterans and civilians to ease the burden of integration within the community. The podcast has reached several locations within the united states such as ohio, texas, california, new york, florida, virginia, alaska, hawaii just to name a few as well as outside of the u.s., such as germany, great britain, russia, brazil, sweden, and canada. The veterans suicide prevention public service announcement "we need you now too" won the gold addy award in ne ohio, which is the highest honor given at the american advertising awards, which recognize creative excellence in advertising. We are sharing this psa with other veterans' suicide preventions organizations for national impact such as face the fight, founded by usaa. Rlf has joined the coalition with face the fight and partner with them to raise awareness and support for veteran suicide prevention.

Our programming utilizes agri-therapy, which is a therapeutic practice that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Agri-therapy is a new initiative of rlf. Backyard gardens program provides strategies for teaching veterans how to become sustainable farmers. With the unique benefits that can only be experienced from working outside, by preparing the soil and the necessary caring and nurturing that is required for the productive growth of plants. This backyard garden pilot program has tremendous potential for expansion and is a program that is open to all veterans.
