Programs

Rila promotes the interests of retailers at all levels of government. The government relations staff at rila, together with retail and supplier members, identify key issues that impact business and work to ensure that public policy, at both the federal and state level, fosters a successful and profitable business environment.

The association offers more than 40 leaders councils and specialty committees that address specific, critical disciplines in the industry. These councils and committees serve as a unique forum for executives from rila's more than 110 member companies to discuss the latest innovation in the retail industry and to work together to improve their businesses as well as the industry. Some of the areas addressed include supply chain, data security, human resources, tax, and international trade.
