Screen and treat patients with retinal and other ocular diseases in Orange County, CA. Volunteer ophthalmologists from Southern California volunteer their time and expertise, along with other volunteers such as ophthalmology technicians and scribes, as well as fellows and ophthalmology residents, medical and premedical students and trainee nurses. This program also provides educational opportunities to the students, while also helping conduct research activities such as educating patients with diabetes to help them take better control of their diseases, which will help reduce visual impairment.
