Agriculture leadership activities the rhea county farm bureau structure of organizational leadership provides many opportunities for member leaders to keep abreast of issues that affect agriculture. Local board members attend organizational & educational meetings each month. They participate in other local agricultural, civic, & community organizations. Leaders attend district, state & national conferences to network with farmers & other agriculturalists to learn about current issues facing agriculture. A highly developed committee structure provides leadership opportunities for members through meetings, regular communications, and agricultural activities.
Youth leadership development the rhea county farm bureau supports youth ag organizations both financially and with volunteer hours. The organization is a primary sponsor fo the rhea county 4h organization. Board members assist with local club meetinga and serve as judges for contests. The rhea county farm bureau donates moned for awards and needed supplies.
