the organization exists to advance podiatric medical education while uniquely focusing on lower extremity dermatology. Its endeavors include initiatives as disparate as internet-based resident education, a commercial newsletter, research funding, publication of a podiatric dermatology textbook, an on-site resident learning center, podiatric institution refurbishment, association sponsorship, student endowments, and continuing medical education lectures nationwide.
