Funded scholarships for seventeen college students. Given to students who reflect the philosophy of lionism while maintaining exemplary standards.
Granted funds to help the blind, visually and hearing impaired. Granted money to clark county lion sight, lcif, md19, white canes, leos, & other local lions clubs who helped our lion club with fundraising activities at the local casino. Over 1000 people benefited.
Granted funds to help and support local community groups and activities including 4h, ffa, leaderdogs for the blind, ridgefield school's knowledge bowl, the school's athletic department, grad night event and the spudder booster club. We supported the christmas giving tree for four local schools. We gave to the local scouting groups and the local art association. Helped the police department with a service activity called shop with a cop where they help needy children with buying school clothes and supplies. Participated in the ridgefield 4th of july parade.
