Technical development supportthe technical staff is the second largest project, the team is made of technical program managers who help our members coordinate the evolution of the standard specifications for the instruction set architecture. They also maintain public meeting minutes on the risc-v website and maintain the technical infrastructure to host the public specification and the review comments during the standardization process. Overall the risc-v members ratified 25 specifications in 2024 and purchased and distributed 280 boards for community and ecosystem developers.

Marketing supportthe marketing is the third largest project, composed of staff and an external media agency as a consultant. The mission is to write blog posts, articles and white papers that promote the adoption of the risc-v architecture as well as to coordinate the organization of all risc-v events. Complementing the marketing team, the community team trained 29 mentees worldwide, engaged with 129 engineers over two hackathon sessions and trained 9,945 engineers via the risc-v free online courses.
