Free college advocacy:rise's student organizers strengthened the organization's free college advocacy efforts across georgia, michigan, pennsylvania, and wisconsin, as well as expanded rise's advocacy footprint to north carolina, arizona and nevada. To address the student loan debt crisis, rise leaders testified at the negotiated rulemaking on student loan debt cancellation and hosted clinics that saved borrowers $355,613 total in forgiven or discharged loans.
