Mission

The mission of RUI's Prevention Program, Rise Up Leadership Academy (RULA), is to protect at-risk youth from being recruited into gangs-an issue that can begin as early as age 12. Launched at the start of the school year with its first cohort of 5th graders, the program offers a safe and supportive environment where students can engage in sports, entertainment, tutoring, and social skill development. Through these activities, RULA empowers youth to recognize their self-worth and strive toward their full potential.
