Mission
Rising starr horse rescue saves, rehabilitates, retrains, and rehomes abandoned, neglected, or abused horses. Through equine interactive programs, we educate and prepare our rescues for rehoming.
Programs

Education - educational lessons mounted and unmounted, teaching the nation the reality and responsibility of horse ownership. Volunteer programming, we have over 200 volunteers in monthly learning to care for america's at-risk horses. Equine assisted services for veterans, first responders and active military.
Boarding - boarding is the care and continued training of a horse once adopted. Program horses boarded at rshr with the horse care, medical, vitamins/supplements, etc. Paid for and/or provided by the boarders sponsor. Rshr provides hay, grain and shavings and feeding and stall maintenance.
