Opportunity build: opportunity build prepares low-income adults to succeed in well-paying careers in the building and construction trades. In 2024, opportunity build served three cohorts of students. Average graduate earnings increase after program completion and continue to increase over time, growing 50% in the first year after graduation and doubling (100%) in the third year after graduation.

Policy: rising sun convenes labor, nonprofit, government, employer, and community partners to advance job quality for economic impact. In 2024, the partnership released two industry research papers that make the case for a home retrofit industry that supports good jobs, along with a first-of-its-kind set of detailed recommendations for standards to increase workers' annual earnings, increase local gdp, and deliver tens of millions of dollars in net public benefit.
