River oak charter school strives, as a dynamic community of teachers, parents, & students to inspire in the child a love of life and learning, beginning with one's own heart, head, and hands, and working toward making a contribution to the community. The charter school serves children in grades k-8. The charter school offers an education program that is based on the highly successful waldorf educational philosophy, which stresses the natural developmental rhythms of childhood.
