Riverarts public events include two extensive free multi-village tours. One that includes approximately 100 visual artists showing their work in their studios and talking to the public about their creative process. The second event showcases more than 250 musicians from throughout the area playing 45 minute concerts on one saturday in about 35 venues. In addition to these tours, riverarts presents a professional contemporary dance concert, a chamber music series featuring musicians from throughout the area, and an artist conversation series highlighting artists in many different art forms discussing their creative process. Additionally, riverarts experiments with programs combining different art forms, such as music and poetry.
