Rockland County, our main audiences home, is a diverse socio-economic community. Through print, eblasts, social media, exhibitions, programs, press releases and news outlets we keep our community informed and engaged. RoCA presented festivals, performances, artist talks, concerts, & public programs that include (14) events held in the Emerson Gallery in 2024. Over 871 adults and children were served through studio classes/workshops & 312 children attended Arts Camp @ RoCA. To broaden accessibility, RoCA worked with 11 community organizations to present collaborative programs to new audiences. We continued our partnership with the Gordon Center for Black Arts & Culture by presenting a free play performance and immersive dance performances. Free outreach programs included arts-in-education, family workshops at public schools, staff development and sculpture workshops.

Expenses: $232K

RoCA continued its commitment to accessibility through partnerships with the Gordon Center for Black Art and Culture, Rockland County public schools, the Ramapough Munsee Lenape Nation, Rockland 21C Collaborative for Youth and Families, Shades Repertory Theater, & Emotions Physical Theatre. Our Affordable Art Bazaar provided artists with an opportunity to sell their art.New events/exhibitions included the Indigenous Art & Craft Fair, Fall Family Festival (both free of charge), From Wine to Mud an immersive dance performance, and the exhibition, The Land: Early Artists @ Gate Hill Co-op.
